About Wake Forest
Wake Forest is a small liberal arts institution that regularly ranks among the top 25 universities in the country. In spite of the small size of the undergraduate student body (less than 5000 undergraduates), the Biology Department houses more than 20 graduate faculty who are committed to training the next generation of Teacher-Scholars. We pride ourselves on personalized courses of study and hands-on training in both research and teaching for our graduate students. Over 30 graduate students in both the MS and PhD programs are pursuing research in disparate disciplines, taking advantage of both in-house resources and field research opportunities.
