Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

The Bioinformatics and Computational Biology group includes faculty interested in a range of genetic, genomic, molecular, and metabolomic datasets, and in advancing our knowledge and understanding of complex biological data through new digital analysis techniques.

Wake Forest University is proud to host a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster called The Distributed Environment for Academic Computing or “DEAC” that is available for use by all researchers in the WFU community, which includes full-time staff support for research computational needs.

Graduate and undergraduate students interested in studying these topics are encouraged to contact the faculty members below to inquire about research mentorship opportunities. See the Graduate Program and Undergraduate Research pages for more information.
