Microbiology

The Microbiology group includes faculty with expertise in bacterial, viral, and eukaryotic parasites, including cyanobacteria, bacteriophages, malaria, and rotavirus. Researchers in our department study these systems in a diverse range of contexts from global oceanography to molecular dynamics to population biology.

Graduate and undergraduate students interested in studying these topics are encouraged to contact the faculty members below to inquire about research mentorship opportunities. See the Graduate Program and Undergraduate Research pages for more information.
