BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and BA Environmental Science
Wake Forest students interested in environmental studies have a choice of two majors: a BA in Environment and Sustainability Studies, and a BA in Environmental Science. Each of these majors is broadly interdisciplinary; each is built upon a foundation of BIO 150, 150L, 160, and 160L; each is designed to prepare students for careers at the intersection of earth systems and human societies.
Minors Environmental and Sustainability Studies & Minor in Environmental Science
The Wake Forest Environmental Program offers Environmental Science and Environmental Studies minors that include courses in biology. These minors are designed to prepare students for careers in law, public health, public policy, and public administration or, if combined with a science degree, in research.
