The BIO Center (Winston Hall Room 019) is our support center for students in 100-level biology courses.
One-on-One Help
Students may schedule meetings with peer tutors in these courses. Tutors are provided and managed by CLASS (the Center for Learning and Student Success). Peer tutors may meet with clients individually or in small groups.
Please visit the CLASS Peer Tutoring Program to sign up for tutoring assistance.
Drop-In Tutoring Sessions
CLASS tutors also offer drop-in sessions, with no appointment needed. For the Spring 2026 semester, drop-in sessions are:
- 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday
- 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday
- 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Sunday
The BIO Center will be closed on BIO 150 exam days, when BIO 150 instructors utilize the room for extended exam time accommodations.
