Dr. Dan Johnson Presents Innovative Tool for Teaching STEM Writing

Dr. Dan Johnson, WFU Biology professor at Wake Forest University, presented his automated tool for improving undergraduate writing at the National Science Foundation’s 2019 STEM for All Video Showcase: Using Data Science to Improve Student Writing in STEM.

This was the first time Dr. Johnson publicly presented the SAWHET (pronounced saw-it) project, which is funded by an NSF grant of nearly $280,000.
