WFU Fellows for 2021-22

Congratulations to Jennifer Ryan, Aidan Wiley, and Yorjannys Gomez! These 2021 WFU Biology major and/or minor graduates have been named Wake Forest Fellows for the 2021-22 academic year. They will work throughout the campus community, serving as full-time Wake Forest staff members, starting July 1. In addition to working with top administrators, the fellows will participate in leadership activities and interact with faculty, staff and students to learn about the inner workings of higher education.

  • Jennifer Ryan (Montvale, NJ) – Information Systems
    Biology and Spanish double major with a minor in chemistry
     
  • Aidan Wiley (Bel Air, MD) – Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
    Spanish major with minors in biology and chemistry and medical Spanish concentration
     
  • Yorjannys Gomez (High Point, NC) – Wake Downtown
    Biology and Spanish double major with chemistry minor and medical Spanish concentration

Since 2008, the Wake Forest Fellows program has provided exceptional Wake Forest College graduates with the opportunity to work in higher education administration for a year. Alumni of the Wake Forest Fellows program have pursued careers in many fields, including law, medicine, public policy, and more. Fellows have since received prestigious academic honors such as Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships.
