Associate Professor of Biology Sarah Esstman has been awarded the Robert and Debra Lee Faculty Fellowship. This three-year award is given by the College in recognition of Dr. Esstman’s outstanding record of teaching and scholarship. Since joining the Biology faculty in 2017, Professor Esstman has taught courses in virology and molecular biology and led a research team focused on rotaviruses. She also leads BMB 395, a capstone course for senior Biochemistry & Molecular Biology majors, and contributes to the Professional Development course for Biology graduate students.
