AWARDS
Aditya Jamwal & Sean Jones both won the Elton C. Cocke Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
Patrick Thomas Ryan won the Carolina Biological Supply Company Undergraduate Research Award.
Patrick was very dedicated to his research, as demonstrated by routinely seeing Patrick in the lab when very few students were in Winston Hall. He told several faculty that research was keeping him going, and allowed him to focus. His dedication and commitment to continuing his research was phenomenal. He was also able to work independently at a very high level and his command of the subject matter of his research is well above other undergraduate honors presentations.” – Dr. Susan Fahrbach, Chair of Biology
Dr. Bahjat Fadi Marayati (’21) received the Elton C. Cocke Award for Outstanding Biology Graduate Student.
Jenny Howard received the Outstanding Biology Graduate Teaching Award.
